Project introduction
National Cheng Kong University –
2024 Empowerment Program for Elementary and Secondary School Teachers
National Cheng Kung University assisted in promoting 2024 Empowerment Program for Elementary and Secondary School Teachers. This first-year plan proposes to use international exchange channels to provide opportunities for domestic teachers to visit overseas and observe on-site teaching classes, so as to enhance the multicultural sensitivity and mutual respect of teachers in primary and secondary schools. Taiwanese teachers can not only directly experience foreign multicultural teaching situations, but also communicate personally with education experts and elementary and secondary school teachers from different cultural backgrounds, thereby gaining a more comprehensive and profound perspective on international education. . So far, nearly 30 teachers have been selected to complete class observations. These teachers will actively participate in promoting international education and provide better capacity for the promotion of international education.
Annual Highlights
National Cheng Kong University –2024 Empowerment Program for Elementary and Secondary School Teachers
The 2024 Empowerment Program for Elementary and Secondary School Teachers are mainly divided into three parts. They are teacher selection, teacher overseas visits, and presentation.
Teacher selection:
The team plans to conduct selection activities in the first quarter
of 2014 (January to March), inviting teachers from schools that
meet the selection criteria to participate in the selection. The
team will arrange selection committee members to review and
sort based on the registration information, and establish
admission and waiting lists.
Teacher visits:
The team plans to conduct overseas visits from the first to the
third quarter of 2013 (February to August). The activities can be
divided into two phases: pre-departure training and overseas
visits. Pre-departure training will strengthen teachers'
understanding of the basics of international education, while
overseas visits will allow teachers to observe and learn about
international education in overseas schools and the practice of
SDG and other related courses.
