2. History:
The school was founded on April 1st of the third year of the Republic of China, when the school was named Linxiepu Public School Pingziding Branch. It originated from the fact that local officials had to take up the mountain because of the need for school children to go to school, and the traffic was extremely inconvenient, so there was a proposal to establish a school. Lin Chaobi and others, who were influential in the local area, jointly proposed to Zhushan Linxiupu Public School a proposal to establish Pingziding branch school. With the consent of the Japanese ruler at the time, they rented two bamboo-built private houses from Mr. Yu Shou. classroom. Everything was simple, but it also started the spring and autumn career of cultivating local talents. Kifune Ryotaro served as the director of the branch school. The new school was moved to the current site at No. 152, Ren'ai Road, Xiufeng Village on June 15th in the fourth year of the Republic of China. On April 27th of the tenth year of the Republic of China, the branch school became independent and called Pingziding Public School. In the 36th year of the Republic of China, it was changed to Xiufeng National School. On August 1, 1949, the government fully implemented the nine-year state education, and the school was ordered to be renamed Xiufeng National Primary School.
