Progressive Bumi Shalawat Secondary School is a private Islamic secondary school located in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia. The school was established under the Bumi Shalawat educational foundation with a commitment to providing quality education that integrates strong spiritual values, academic excellence, character development, and global awareness.
Guided by the philosophy “Kokoh Spiritual dan Mapan Intelektual” (Strong in Spiritual Values and Established in Intellectual Excellence), the school has continuously developed its educational programmes to prepare students not only for academic success but also for real-life challenges.
As part of its development, SMP Progressive Bumi Shalawat has incorporated international learning experiences into its educational programme, including the Pearson Edexcel curriculum and The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. The school also actively promotes international exposure through student immersion, cultural exchange, collaborative projects, conferences, and partnerships with schools and educational institutions overseas.
