National PingPei Senior High School, established in 2004 in Yanpu Township, Pingtung County, is a comprehensive high school system. There are social courses, natural courses, business courses, and catering courses.
2004: Enrollment began, initially enrolling eight classes in the comprehensive high school system.
Since 2010: National Tsing Hua University and our school have jointly set up a special class for aboriginal education in Pingbei High School. There are two classes for general subjects (30 students in one class, 60 students in total). One class, the first phase of the experimental education plan takes 10 years as the planning and implementation period. Curriculum planning is divided into (1) Formal courses: In addition to offering formal courses according to the syllabus of ordinary high schools, two series of characteristic courses, "Indigenous Culture" and "Ecological Conservation" are offered in response to the spirit of the experimental project; (2) Informal courses: including talent classes, residential education, after-school activities during the semester, winter and summer vacation (the third semester) activities and other four categories.

In accordance with the goals of comprehensive high school education, the curriculum design of our school not only focuses on the unified exploration of the first year of high school, the differentiation of the second year of high school, and the specialization of the third year of high school, but also considers that students' future careers should include further education or employment. From the second grade, students will be guided to take academic courses or specialized courses according to their interests, aptitudes, and abilities.
According to the development of the school and the needs of the region, the school's course planning is divided into "academic-natural course", "academic-social course", "professional-business service course" and "professional-catering service course"
In recent years, the school has actively participated in international exchanges in line with the bilingual policy of the Ministry of Education. In addition to applying for the "Exchange Program for Chinese High School Students and Foreign Students in Colleges and Universities", it also applied for the "Inter-Senior High School and Foreign School Cooperation to Promote Online Teaching Implementation Program" .
