Proposal for International Online Collaboration from Songnae High School, South Korea
Dear Colleague, Warm greetings from South Korea.
Our school currently has 29 students enrolled in Chinese language classes in 2026, and we expect approximately 70 students to enroll in 2027.
We would like to establish an online international exchange program by matching our students one-to-one with students in Taiwan who are interested in learning Korean or in international cultural exchange.
As part of this project, we are planning to use Padlet, an online collaborative sharing platform, to facilitate regular communication between the students. Approximately once a week, students would post photos and short introductions based on various topics, such as school meals, traditional holidays and festivals, television dramas, snacks, and everyday life. Through these activities, we hope that students will have opportunities to learn about each other’s cultures and develop meaningful connections.
If you have any good ideas or suggestions regarding online international exchange programs, we would be very happy to discuss them with you and work together to develop a suitable program.
We look forward to the opportunity to build a meaningful and sustainable international exchange between our students and students in Taiwan.

As a member of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet), Songnae High School is dedicated to fostering global citizens who value diversity and collaborative communication. For the past nine years, we have specialized in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), implementing AI-based SDGs programs and ecological forest projects. In 2024, we were honored to host international delegates during the UNESCO ‘International Forum on the Futures of Education’ to showcase our educational model.
