The school is the recipient of the prestigious International School Award under the aegis of the British Council, since 2010. It was also bestowed with Grand Banyan award for adopting the Sector-10, Dwarka Metro Station and spreading Swachch Bharat.

The school focuses on innovations and newer approaches to the process of teaching-learning. It lays a lot of emphasis on 21st century skills. The teachers are regularly trained and updated to handle all challenges and they in turn become mentors. General workshops are conducted for all teachers as a part of faculty enrichment. Initiating Partnership with Children in the Classroom, Developing Personal kills, Adopting Effective Methodology, Helping Every Child to Learn at her/his own Pace & Ability, Education through Theatre, Integrating ICT, Network Security Management and ERP, Effective Methods of teaching English Phonetics, Maintaining Anecdotal Records of Each Child, etc. are some of the workshops conducted.

‘Teach Each Child, Develop Whole Child’, the school motto upholds the fundamental right of quality education for all. Their students do not get answers to learn, rather they get problems to solve. Indraprastha INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL has been bestowed with various national and international awards. Prestigious awards like Green Banyan Award in international segment, Connecting Classrooms and e-Gyan awards have been conferred on the school by the British Council and other esteemed organisations. In keeping with the winning spree, Indraprastha INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL was awarded for Best Business Enterprise Implementation Plan for the project, Teach a Man to Fish, by British Council. Impressed by Indraprastha and its partner school’s work in international dimension, the Queen of England applauded their work in a letter from Buckingham Palace. Internationalism forms an integral part of the school curriculum. This is one of the exclusive schools working with the organization, Face to Faith started by UK’s former Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Blair. Having proved their mettle at inter-school, state and national level competitions, their students have become epitomes of hard work and talent guided by extremely passionate mentors, their teachers. Some of the achievements of the school are :
• The CBSE board results of classes X and XII, with average aggregate marks more than 86% has put the school students among the highest achievers in the country
• The Indian Post and Telegraph Department released a Special Cover Envelope on April 2, the day that marked the fifteenth year of the inception of Indraprastha.
• The school was conferred with the Spiritual and Value Education award by Confederation of Indian Universities, for inculcating the right moral values in the children. This is an on-going process wherein values of sharing, caring, punctuality, family bonding etc. are inculcated in their students.
• The school also stood proud by emerging as the winner of Pramerica Spirit of Community Award and Behtar India Campaign Award for exceptional initiatives in service to the community.
• Indraprastha has been awarded a citation for being one among the ‘50 Future Schools’ for shaping success under the initiation of ‘Fortune India’.
• The school’s PGT Informatics Practice, received the ‘Shiksha Gaurav- National Award 2018’ among 120 teachers from across country by the Centre for Education Development. She has also been bestowed with the National ICT Award by the Ministry of Human resource and Development.
• The school’s theatrical performance, ‘Gandhi Tum Kahan Gaye?’, an emotionally sensational skit on the excerpts from the life of Mahatma Gandhi was declared as the Overall state-level winner. The same shall be performed for the Vice President of India in October, this year.
• The spirited sportspersons have represented the national teams and CBSE in football, cricket, korf ball, basketball, chess and martial arts.

In these years, our school has emerged as the overall champion winning an endless number of rolling trophy in various inter-school events at some of the top schools of Delhi NCR. As quoted by the Times of India Ranking survey, Indraprastha INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Dwarka, has been ranked as one of the top ten in the city. The school has been honoured with the Gold Level Award in the School Enterprise Challenge for planning, setting up and running innovative school business.
Recently, it has been awarded with the International Dimension in Schools Award by British Council for the fourth consecutive term. Indraprastha schools are recognized as the School of Excellence and the same was consolidated when it was ranked No.1 in India under the top CBSE school’s parameter wise for- ‘Future Proof Learning Infrastructure’ in a survey conducted by Education Today.
We have also partnered with various universities in Australia and New Zealand. the Foundation Preparation Pathways Programme that is offered at Indraprastha is taken up by the students of Class X and above. The students walk in to the campus at Indraprastha and walk out of the university campus at New Zealand and Australia.
We are privileged to showcase the t outstanding results of CBSE class X and XII, wherein students of Indraprastha scored a perfect 100% in many subjects and emerged as National Toppers and first division holders.
