During Principal Huang Zeng-Xin’s tenure in 2003 (Republic Era Year 92), the school promoted diversified campus development. In 2004, experimental programs in mathematics, science, and traditional Chinese music were implemented, both receiving top honors in evaluations. The quality of teaching staff continuously improved, with teachers showing dedication to teaching and actively innovating and revitalizing instructional methods. In 2003, the school was awarded the County Government's Excellence in Teaching Award and represented the county in a national competition, earning a commendation.
In 2006 (Year 95), the school celebrated its 50th anniversary and inaugurated the newly constructed Ren-Ai Building, marking a new chapter in the campus layout. In 2007 (Year 96), the school was honored by the Ministry of Education as an outstanding school in student affairs and guidance.
In 2008 (Year 97), under the leadership of Principal Chen Neng-Sen, gifted classes in math, science, and languages were established. Upholding the spirit of holistic education, the school experienced significant development, and students and teachers achieved excellent results in various Hsinchu County competitions.
In 2012 (Year 101), Principal Chang Zhu-Xiu took office. In 2015 (Year 104), the school won first place in the national middle school division of the Taiwan Lantern Festival Lantern-Making Competition. In the same year, it also received the national top honor in the Creative Drama Competition.
In 2015 (Year 104), Principal Liu An-Lun assumed office and promoted a culture of reading. In 2019 (Year 108), the renovated library was completed and renamed the "Ducè Reading Hall." Additionally, the school established the Hsinchu County Regional Vocational Exploration and Experience Demonstration Center for Junior High Schools, implementing the 12-Year Basic Education policy and offering a diverse environment for exploration.
In 2016 (Year 105), the school received KDP International Certification for Excellence in School Management and Instructional Innovation, and was recognized as a Model School with Distinctive Features in Hsinchu County. In 2017 (Year 106), it earned the Silver Award for International Education Curriculum Development as a Model School in Hsinchu County. In the 2018 academic year, the Fine Arts Class won first place nationwide in the printmaking category of the National Art Competition. From 2017 to 2019, the school integrated international education, career education, outdoor education, life education, and emerging issues into its curriculum, earning top national honors from the Ministry of Education for its outstanding achievements.
Since Principal Chen took office, he has continued the commitment to holistic education, actively leading the faculty and students toward the school’s vision of "Humanities, Technology, Ethics, and Environmental Protection." In response to changing times and evolving school needs, this vision has been further developed into the "Three Goods" of Zhubei Junior High School: "Healthy Body, Good Character, and Academic Excellence." This vision has shaped a high-quality school culture and brought continuous progress to school development. Under the principal’s leadership, Zhubei Junior High School has become a diverse and inclusive learning environment, enabling every student to reach their full potential and become a successful member of the next generation.
