Taoyuan Municipal Yung-Feng High School (short for YFMS), founded in 1999, is a public six-year high school at Bade district, Taoyuan city. Yung-Feng is the first high school combined with senior and junior sections in Taoyuan, including more than 2400 students and faculty members.
Located in central Taoyuan, Yung-Feng enjoys convenient connections. Neili Railway Station is nearby, and student shuttle buses serve students from the Longtan, Dayuan, Pingzhen, Dayou, Guishan, Zhongzheng, Danan, and Bade Districts; the routes are annually adjusted based on student needs. Institutions such as Taoyuan General Hospital and Yuan Ze University are also near the school.
Shangyan High School in Korea, Chiyoda High School, Yashio High School, Uwajima Minami High School in Japan, and Gunwi High School in Korea are all partner schools of ours. We also have exchange students from France, Brazil, Italy, and Australia. Yung-Feng has not only provided a variety of second-language elective courses like Japanese, French, Korean for a long run, but also arranged a foreign teacher to teach in each class once a week for building an immersive English-learning environment. We are selected as one of the bilingual experiment schools by Ministry of Education in 2021.
The number of classes in Yung-Feng continues to expand over the years. The junior high section has regular classes and an athletic stream. Besides regular classes, the senior high section has steams in language, mathematics, science, and athletics which include fencing, archery, kendo, ping pong, and track-and-field. We have nearly fifty student clubs in total, ranging from various talents, literature, music, dance, physical education, volunteering, etc.

Sister Schools Around the World: Shangyan High School in Korea, Chiyoda High School, Yashio High School, Uwajima Minami High School in Japan, and Gunwi High School in Korea are all partner schools of ours. We also have exchange students from France, Brazil, Italy, and Australia, which makes for a diverse and international campus.
2. Educational Visits: The principal leads the teachers and students on study trips around the world. So far, we have visited the US, Japan, South Korea, and China. Visiting these very different places exposes students to different cultures, broadens their horizons, stretches their minds, and opens their hearts to different ways of life.

High-quality Study Environment: To accommodate the needs of different subjects and students, various specialized class rooms offer a diverse array of equipment and learning materials, from electronic white boards to all sorts of devices. The bright and spacious reading room offers student a great space for self-study or group work after classes.

Far-sighted Planning Courses: With regard to multiple learning, our school has strategic alliances with local universities to develop different courses including ecological art course and botanical course to name a few. We also offer literature camps during the holidays, and regularly have celebrities giving lectures at the school. This all combines to form an enriching learning environment.
7. Dynamic Club Life: A healthy mind in a healthy body. That’s why our campus boasts a variety of clubs to nurture students’ physical and mental development as well as life skills. The clubs resemble families where elder brothers and sisters teach sports and give practical guidance and where one can find friends of the same interests. Our school has clubs for basketball, fencing, baseball, dancing, ping pong, and more.
8. Service and Academic Clubs: Participating in clubs builds character, fosters a spirit of service, and helps develop communication skills. Our school has a wind band, a marching band club, a scouting group, and a publicity club.
