With a 60-year history, the campus boasts a beautiful environment, filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers, earning it the nickname "Central Taiwan Science Park Forest Elementary School." Daya's wheat, a type of wheat harvested annually, accounts for 90% of Taiwan's total cultivated area, earning it the reputation of "Taiwan's Wheat Hometown." The wheat fields surrounding Yang Ming Elementary School provide a rich learning environment rich in local history, nature, ecology, and culture.
