Wen Ao Elementary School is located at No.221, Wenxue Rd., Magong City, Penghu County 880010, Taiwan (R.O.C.). It covers 60,000 square meters. The school started as a branch of Shih Cyuan Elementary School in 1950, and became independent in 2007. In the first year, Wen Ao only had eight total classes. With the efforts of the great administrative staff and teachers, the number of students attending Wen Ao has been soaring rapidly. In the last ten years, the class number has increased to 31. Wen Ao has the most students in the county. Because of the growing number of students, Wen Ao has undergone construction on its buildings four different times. In order to give its students chances to learn new skills, Wen Ao has included two “sports classes”, which focus on teaching students skills in track-and-field, swimming, and table tennis. In addition, Wen Ao opened English Village situational classrooms in 2011. Recruited foreign teachers started teaching, not only Wen Ao EV, but other schools in Penghu as well. The curriculum includes EV lessons and school-based curriculum. In 2012, Wen Ao started managing an English Teaching Resource Center, organizing major English education events in Penghu. In 2018, for the sake of limited space and equipment, Wen Ao has officially documented a regulation for limiting number of students attending.

Wen Aos educational cores are multiple-learning sound-development and whole-person education. Wen Ao has excellent teachers who expertise in multiple subject matters. Wen Ao has musical teams such as the percussion team and choir team. These teams have won countless prizes over the years. Both teams have consistently won first prize nationwide for many years. The choir has won first prize in Taiwanese songs in Penghu and has even once excelled in Taiwan. Wen Aos sports teams which include swimming track-and-field and table tennis have also outperformed and succeeded winning many prizes these past few years. Along with these school teams Wen Aos English learning has been a key development in school curriculum. Under the devoted English teachers hard work students have performed well in spelling bees English songs and Reader Theaters annually. Wen Ao has held many events for English learning. English Day Story Time Festivals Vocabulary Challenge and International Education are just some of the activities that trigger students motivation for learning English. Moreover Wen Ao has excellent curriculum to keep students excited for learning and broaden their mind. It cultivates reading as a habit for students the art education triggers students art talent the science education promotes students hands-on experiments ICT education leads students to enhance their logical thinking. Wen Aos educational view puts emphasis on sound-development on every subject and focuses on educating students to have the competence to solve problems in their daily life.
