The Kaohsiung Municipal Chung-shan Senior High School was established on July 1, 1990 in honor of
the Father of the Republic, Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Located in Nantian District, the school owns the most
spacious campus among the high schools in Kaohsiung City. Mr. Tsai Chen-lin set down the principle
"all for the students, all for the faculty, and all for education." On the basis of this principle, he drafted a
long-term development plan and continued to strengthen the faculty, increase the facilities, construct the
campus and promote academic research.
At present, the school consists of 42 classes. Most of the alumni/alumnae have entered the prestigious and
universities or colleges. They have won the acclaims of the community with their achievements in studies
their virtuous characters. Through the efforts of the principal, faculty, teachers and students, it is believed
that the future of this school is promising .

Based on the national policy on international education, our school puts special emphasis on cultivating
students' global mobility. In order to connect Kaohsiung Chung-shan senior high school to the world, we
devote ourselves to enhancing the international education and expanding global exchanges in our school.
The learning content, process, and product in Taiwan elementary and middle school should be transferable
to the main educational system in other countries, enabling local and foreign students to come or go for
further study. The education bureaus, schools, faculty, and students in Taiwan should form partnership with
organizations, institutions, and enterprises which support international education around the globe so as to
have mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange.
