學校基本資料

誠正國中位於中華民國臺北市南港區的一所國民中學校地為三角形，校舍為日字形，共計6棟教學大樓（勤學樓、博愛樓、莊敬樓、有恆樓、敬業樓、自強樓）及中間的行政樓(誠正樓)，並設有200公尺的PU跑道、籃球場、排球場、一棟學生活動中心及溫水游泳池，為臺北市鄰近三鐵共構-南港站的學校之一。
民國56年（1967年）06月27日，為配合地方教育需求，該校於焉設立。
民國65年（1976年）05月15日，奉台北市政府定名為台北市立誠正國民中學。
民國65年（1976年）07月1日至1983年8月1日，首任校長何文琴女士榮調北市古亭國中校長為止。7年間，計完成普通教室66間、特別教室11間、準備室3間、行政中心13間、會議室、圖書館，校史室各1間、文化走廊540平方公尺、校門、運動場各1座，並陸續改善班級位置規劃。
民國109年（2020年）08月起為雙語實驗課程學校。
2018, in response to Taiwan’s foreign professional recruitment policy, Cheng Zheng Junior High School was approved by the Ministry of Education to established a class called “Programs at Junior High Schools for Children of Professionals Recruited from Overseas”. The program offers full English classes for children of foreign professionals employed in Taiwan. In 2019, the school participated in the Bilingual Experimental Curriculum Program of
the Education Bureau and was officially recognized as a bilingual school in 2020.
To Nurture excellent scientific talents, Cheng Zheng Junior High School was approved by the Education Bureau in 2023 to establish a class for gifted students in mathematics and science, providing more diverse learning resources for the school’s outstanding students.
Cheng Zheng Junior High School has achieved outstanding results in promoting student reading and digital teaching. The school has dedicated teachers for reading promotion and a rich reading curriculum. The school’s library has one of the top three largest collections among junior high schools in Taipei, and in 2025, it was selected by the Education Bureau to participate in the national Reading Pillars Award.
The school currently has 28 regular classes, 3 sports classes, 1 class for Gifted and Talented Education Program, 2 classes for program at Junior High Schools for Children of Professionals Recruited from Overseas and 2 special education resources classes, with a total of 742 students and 127 teachers and staff (as of March 2025). The current principal is Ms. Wang Li Fen.
Cheng Zheng Junior High School looks forward to the opportunity to exchange ideas with international partner schools, sharing experiences in school development and teaching, and hopes to build friendship through cultural exchanges.
