The school is located across the street from the Central Park on Minsheng 1st Road in Xinxiang Dist., Kaohsiung City, with an area of 2.7033 hectares. It was founded in the 24th year of the R.O.C.
Currently, there are 17 classes, 260 students in the elementary school department, 37 students in the kindergarten, and 44 faculty members in the school.

1.Nanotechnology
Through the Little Nano. The curriculum is very different, and each grade level implements the teaching activities in depth, and uses "Nanotechnology" as a practical knowledge of life.
2.Energy Application
Students will learn about the definition and basic concept of sustainability, and use many examples from their lives to let them feel that this is an issue in their lives, and that they should take action to improve the environment and continue the spirit of sustainability. Students will develop themselves as good citizens who care for the earth.
3.Intergenerational learning
TA-TUNG Elementary School is the home of the elderly School, which has led to the birth of the Learning Together program. Through the continuous learning together program, children and their elders can build a relationship of companionship and integration, and learn more life experiences through the interactive process.
4.E-learning
Project-based learning leads students to explore STEAM, cross-disciplinary integrated learning and real-life problem solving, guides students to plan a "smart home" that is in line with the coexistence of generations, revitalizes children's digital life practice literacy learning, and deepens the educational value of life care for the young and old.
5.Soccer Team
Our boys' and girls' soccer teams have been established for many years and have won many competitions. Through soccer practice, we not only train the development of leg muscles and the reaction on the field, but also cultivate the team spirit of tacit understanding and cooperation.
6.Drum Team
The team was established in the 106th school years and invited professional teachers from the ten drum groups to give guidance to the school. Every year, the team performs as the opening act of the school field day and receives good reviews. In addition to training students' sense of rhythm, the team can also cultivate tacit understanding.
7.Dance Club
The dance club was established in the 110th school years and invited professional dancers from Kaohsiung local dance group - Dance Dynasty to teach students street dances in different styles and perform in field day and children's day. Through dance exercises, students will be trained in body movement and coordination.
8.Scrabble Ball Club
The school won the first place in the lower grade group and the second place in the middle grade group in the 110th years of the National Scrabble Tournament. Therefore, a scrabble club was established in the following year to train students' concentration and hand-eye coordination skills.
