Originally, Bannongplasiw School was located near the local monastery but faced a severe teacher shortage, forcing students to endure difficult commutes to another school. Recognizing this challenge, residents from five neighboring villages united to find a central location for a new school. The Sathuchat family generously donated over 17 rai of land to build a temporary school building. Consequently, in 1996, it opened as a branch of Ban Santisuk (Theppratan) School and officially gained independent school status on March 5, 1997.

The school expanded its educational opportunities to junior high school levels in 2003, achieving independent status for this level in 2007. Later in 2005, the school board and parents organized a fundraising Robe-Offering (Thod Phapa) ceremony to purchase an additional 3 rai of land. Today, the school spans over 20 rai, featuring three school buildings, supporting facilities, and six sports fields to facilitate student learning.

The school's development has progressed continuously. In 2013, it was selected to join the Education Fund Project (Generation 2). Over the years, it has received government budget and support from various organizations—including the C.C.F. Foundation under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn—to construct new buildings, teacher residences, a reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration system, and concrete roads, significantly improving the quality of education and life for children in the community.
