Our school opened in 1962, and in 2019 we held a ceremony to commemorate our 50th anniversary. The school building is located on land overlooking the scenic Mikata Five Lakes, which is blessed with rich nature. The school motto is ``Bright, Strong, and Pure,'' and ``We strive to be close to nature, people, and society, and to be bright, strong, and pure, and to live up to our beliefs.'' I am working hard on my studies and sports with the goal of ``I want to live with what I have.''

Our school is celebrating its 56th anniversary this year, having opened in 1962. With the great support of the local community, we are engaged in educational activities centered on both study and club activities. Currently, there are 5 classes in each grade: 3 general classes, 1 lifestyle information class, and 1 food class, and detailed learning tailored to each student's individuality and career path is carried out. With the cooperation of the local community, we are working to further enhance programs that deepen practical learning through the inquiry learning “Ronkou” and the subject research in Home Studies.
