1. Ying-ming Junior High School was founded in 1990. It covers an area of 1.98 hectares and is located at the junction of Ling-ya District and Qian-zhen District in Kaohsiung City, which is the essence of the city that was developed very early and has a very convenient transportation network.

2. In the school, there are three school buildings, named Zhan-yu Building, Ying-ming Building, and Mu-feng Building (including Zhi-zhen Building, Zhi-shan Building, and Zhi-mei Building) which contain 35 general classrooms, 22 specialist classrooms, and 16 E-style classrooms, 1 library, 1 activity center and other classrooms.

3. The school currently has 28 classes, 570 students in grades 7, 8, and 9, and 75 teaching staff in total. It also has a non-profit kindergarten with about 250 students.

4. With the leadership of the previous principals and the efforts of all teachers and students, the teaching quality in all teaching fields and the teaching equipment (software and hardware) in this school have made considerable development and progress.

1. Ying-ming Junior High School regards itself as an art campus. It has public art sculptures such as "Sun and Moon Elegance", "Natural", "Time", and "Sports" as well as a large stone tablet with calligraphy by Mr. Fu Yi-fu. All of these make the campus filled with a rich artistic atmosphere.

2. The school focus on the development of information technology education and upgrade teaching equipment to meet its future needs. The school has some large-screen live-broadcast classrooms and teachers here practice cross-domain digital learning programs. The school is selected as a 5G new technology learning demonstration school and QEC base maintenance center of Kaohsiung city is located here.

3. Characteristic classes of this school include mathematics & science gifted classes, literature gifted classes, artistic-talented orchestra classes, and sports classes (badminton and karate). With outstanding performance, these classes have been highly approved by parents from the community nearby.
