New Taipei Municipal New Taipei Senior High School was established in 1994. Located in the Chongyang Urban Planning Area of Sanchong City, close to Shilin District of Taipei City, the school covers an area of 8 hectares. In each grade, there are 17 classes inclusive of 15 ordinary classes, one music class, and one physical education class, totaling 51 classes with about 1,800 students.

The school has a beautiful environment, with ingenious Chinese and Western-style courtyards planted with flourishing flowers and trees, and a classically-designed pond with diverse ecology. The large classrooms with both front and rear corridors offer students broad space. The teaching equipment and all kinds of facilities, specialist classrooms and laboratories are well-installed to bring students the best learning environment. The school buildings are majestic, equipped with indoor heated swimming pool, multi-functional gymnasium, astrology hall and observatory, international conference hall, digital library, musical and performing arts hall, and specialist classrooms and laboratories for various subjects.
