Dinh Thien Ly Middle School and High School (Lawrence S.Ting School) was established in 2008, is a non-profit school invested and built by Phu My Hung Development Co., Ltd.
The school is named after the late Chairman of the Board of Directors of CT&D Group and Phu My Hung Joint Venture Company - Mr. Dinh Thien Ly (English name is Lawrence S.Ting) - who was President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet signed the decision posthumously conferring the Friendship Medal on December 28, 2007.

In 1989, Mr. Dinh Thien Ly went to Vietnam and began his arduous but meaningful journey. With foresight, extraordinary energy and rare courage, he decided to invest on a large scale in a poor, deserted land. He led a team that worked hard to create a change. After twenty years of efforts, the impossible has become possible, the poor wasteland of the past has become an industrial zone, a prosperous modern urban area today.
Dinh Thien Ly's four important projects, which are highly appreciated by the Vietnamese Party and State, are: Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, Hiep Phuoc Power Plant, Saigon South New Urban Area and the program to plant 60,000 hectares of forest in Kien Giang. .

Mr. Dinh Thien Ly is a foreign businessman, investing in Vietnam. However, what he has done for Vietnam is really impressive and very admirable. During his lifetime, he was always interested in education with the belief that talent is the precious capital of a country, taking care of talent training will bring prosperity to the country.
After his death, his family and Phu My Hung Company established the Lawrence S.Ting Community Support Fund with the aim of contributing to sharing with the unfortunates, the lives of poverty, and at the same time bringing benefits to the poor. to make a positive contribution to Vietnam's education before the period of integration and development.
In 2006, Phu My Hung Company decided to carry out a project to build a non-profit school named after Mr. Dinh Thien Ly to show his love for Vietnam, his concern for the world. Vietnamese youth system – Dinh Thien Ly Middle School and High School.
