XinHai Elementary school was founded in 1986 by principal Chen Wen Chin. After 6 years of constructions, including illigal structures removal, underground water pipes replacement, and underground parking lot etc. , a once barren hillside sitted a beautiful school, which was then officially opened in 1992. A generous amount new electric devices such as videotape editors, CCD camers, equipements for language center ,and computers were purchased to create a sound learning environment for students.
When Ms . Dong Su Zhen took over as the second principal, she managed to raised 25 million dollers and built a library in order for studnets to develop the habit of reading. She also eliminated blind spots in the school, making them into open fields for scouts and open education activities. On one hand, she actively promoted the idea of small group learning style, integrating courses and teaching themes. On the other hand, she encouraged teachers to form peer learning group to help each other with research and teaching. XinHai was set to be a professional and energetic school.
Mr. Chiu Chun Tang the third principal had a vision of “love, learning, inheritance” for the school, and helped develop deep-plow reading and martial arts education as the school’s special focuses. He then was dedicated into creating a artful and aesthetic campus with the idea of “Art in life, life in art.” Principal Chiu had led the school to win several competitions in martial arts.
In 2008, the fourth principal Xiu Jin Lui promoted morning martial arts training sessions, and with the help of the president of the parents association, the school was allowed to recruit full-time martial arts coaches. Mr. Xiu also recruited full-time librarians in order to put the library into better use and was later givin an award due to the promotion. In 2011, the library was remodeled and renamed “The blessing of books”, making the campus a better environment for reading. Principal Xiu was actively engaged in different projects of arts and humanities of the Department of Education, and helped XinHai elementary school win the title of the model school of the education of arts and humanities.

We also rearranged classrooms and made space for martial arts, subjects, special education, visials, history of school, central system for drinking water, and survillance system. The students were also included in the wall painting project, making the school fences a masterpiece. He also integrated the administrative staffs and teachers, avtively marketing XinHai elementary school.
