In 1930 (Showa 5), it became Shan-Zi-Jiao Public School, and in 1941 (Showa 16), it was renamed Shan-Zi-Jiao National School. After Taiwan's restoration in 1945, Mr. Lin Xingwang became the first principal. In April 1946 (Republic of China Year 35), the school was renamed Shan-Jia National School. Since its establishment, the school has a rich history of serving children aged 6 to 12 in the Shan-Jia area. Over the decades, it has educated tens of thousands of students, nurturing countless talented individuals. In addition to providing quality academic education, the school also takes on social responsibilities such as community parenting education and often serves as a hub for local community events.
The school boasts a beautiful campus, with lush greenery, towering trees, and the fragrance of flowers, making it a natural "classroom" for students and a large "park" for local residents. It is a place where both students and the community can connect with nature. Indeed, it truly lives up to its name as the "Forest School" in the city.
