Our school, formerly "Kaohsiung City Second Middle School",
Was renamed as "Kaohsiung City Fifth Middle School" in 1957.
In September 1968, due to the implementation of nine-year compulsory education, it was renamed "Kaohsiung Liya Junior High School".
The first phase of school building reconstruction was finished in 2013, and the second phase was finished in 2016. The goal is to continue to cultivate talents with a new modern campus.
In 2021, the reinforcement project of the activity center will be carried out, the campus environment will be continuously updated, and the curriculum will be diversified.
